Welcome to the CCTV User Group 2017

The membership organisation for All involved with CCTV Management and other Control Room System's.

The CCTV User Group's next conference will be  21st Anniversary  Annual Seminar/Conference on 22nd - 24th May 2017  will be held again based on last years Delegates feedback at Chesford Grange Hotel - Kenilworth.

For those who were unable to attend last year, you missed one of the very best conferences,  you missed so much that is really essential to the future develop and legislation relating to Public area CCTV.

The Theme for this years programme is "The 21st Anniversary of the CCTV User Group" and includes the speakers below and far more.

Tony Porter - Surveillance Camera Commissioner

A National CCTV Surveillance Strategy for Public Area cameras is being developed by the SCC, and Tony Porter will speak about all the aspects of the Strategy including essential requirements for all CCTV Managers.

Jonathan Bamford - Information Commissioners Office

Whilst the Surveillance Camera Commission develops the National CCTV Strategy the enforcement of the requirements fall under the Information Commissioner’s role, and the differing approach between the UK approach and the EU approach to the DPA . Brexit could ensure we retain the existing approach.

Mick Neville - Neville Forensic Recognition Ltd - A Super Recogniser Consultant

Mick Neville is an excellent speaker and often scores the top feedback at our conferences

Mick retired from the Met Police after developing the principals of the Super Recogniser for the Met. Now as a Consultant he can share his expertise to CCTV Managers who might benefit from Mick’s approach.

Martin Beaumont – A Fellow Director of the CCTV User Group

How to go about Financing CCTV and Partnerships. Martin in his new role as a fellow director of The CCTV User Group has been visiting and researching several partnership arrangements.

The full programme of other speakers who will also be presenting will be circulated in a few weeks.

Throughout the Conference there are WORKSHOPS to enable delegates to discuss the topics and share their thoughts and opinions

Feedback sheets illustrate how successful last year's conference was, with some delegates having to stay at another hotel for one night, and over 150 delegates attending.

This is why, yet again, we have had to find a new hotel capable of dealing with an increase in delegates

If you are interested in the changes these new Codes, Standards and Regulations, and how other developments will effect your system 'You simply can't afford to miss this one!'
